Alabaster the alligator was a kind, hardworking family man. He spent his days in the lakes, ponds and swamps of South Carolina searching for fish to sell at the local market. His nights were spent at home with his wife Alabama and their 16 kids. Money was tight, but he had his job and family to count on. Over the years, the fishing industry became noticeably slower with more competition and less fish. With 17 jaws to feed, Alabaster was forced to venture out of the swamp and into the city to look for a job that would put meat on the table. It was hard for a gator to find work, as almost everyone was terrified of being eaten. Eventually Alabaster found a place that would give him a chance. He joined the team at Atlantic Fall Protection. There was only one problem – Alabaster was scared of heights!
